May 4 has in recent years become the day to celebrate all things Star Wars, with people marking the day with the phrase May the 4th be with you in homage to the Jedi Masters' greeting 'May the Force be with you.' For Star Wars fans this year, May 4th brings much to look forward to - with Disney Plus packed with more Star Wars content to watch than ever, from the movie saga from A New Hope to The Last Jedi, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, animated shows like The Clone Wars and Rebels.
There's even the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special, although sadly the infamously surreal 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special is oddly missing.
The most anticipated part of May for many Star Wars fans is actually a little later in the month. After much anticipation, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be hitting Disney Plus for the first time.
Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will be reprising their roles from the Star Wars prequels, with the show tackling the aftermath of Obi-Wan Kenobi's greatest and most personal defeat, the downfall and corruption of his one-time friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side and became evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
