The BRIT Awards will go ahead with a live audience next month. The ceremony is part of the government's research into how crowds can safely return to large events in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Attendees will not need to wear a face mask or social distance from other people in the audience - but they will need to provide a negative Covid test.

The awards, which are being held on Tuesday 11 May, will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall and feature performances from Arlo Parks, Dua Lipa and Headie One.
