A watched pot never boils, as the old adage goes, but if we keep our eye off it too long it can sometimes burn. It isn’t necessarily an indication of poor cooking skills, it can happen to anyone; food encrusted and charred to the bottom of a pan or pot.
While it is tempting to convince ourselves that leaving it to soak in soapy water, and ignoring it for ten years, will do the trick this isn’t always the case.
Sometimes we need to enlist the help of a chemical or two to unbind the debris from the metal kitchenware. However, you don’t have to scrub until your arms are like Arnie’s to rid your pans of unwanted muck.
