During her seven decades on the throne, the Queen’s love of bold colour, statement headwear and lavish jewellery has had an impact on plenty of our style choices.
After attending the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding carrying a Launer handbag, the firm’s website crashed. Sales of Barbour jackets also spiked after she, or rather Dame Helen Mirren, sported one while portraying Her Majesty in Oscar-winning film The Queen.
And after she wore a daring neon green outfit at the 2016 Trooping The Colour parade, sales of neon reportedly shot up by 137 per cent.
