Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have survived on inheritance left by Princess Diana since quitting as senior royals last year.
In their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed the Royal Family cut them off financially in the first quarter of 2020, shortly after they announced their decision to step back.
The couple relied on the money that Prince Harry inherited from his mother when he turned 30. Harry said: "I have what my mum left me and without that we wouldn’t have been able to do this.
It’s like she saw it coming and she’s been with us through this whole process." Princess Diana's sons were her whole world, and her legacy has allowed Harry and his family to achieve independence from the Firm.
