Carl, 32, popped the question to Katie, 42, after less than a year of dating following an introduction during lockdown by a mutual friend.
The pair’s relationship has gone from strength to strength as they have spent the past 10 months living together and have been trying for a baby together too.
Carl also helped Katie to get around following her accident in Turkey which left her with two broken feet and in a wheelchair for several months.
