ITV’s true crime drama recalling the manhunt for fugitive gunman Raoul Moat returns to screens on Monday (April 17). The Hunt for Raoul Moat shines a light on the human tragedies that lay behind Britain’s biggest manhunt, told through the eyes of those who sought to bring the violent killer to justice.
Episode two of the gripping three-part drama sees Moat still at large after a devastating attack while the police work against the clock to hunt him down.
Moat, 37, went on the run in July 2010, two days after he served an 18-week sentence in Durham prison for assaulting a nine-year-old relative.
The former bouncer and bodybuilder was said to be 6 foot 3 inches tall and approximately 17 stone, and was described in the press as having a “hulking” physique.
