It ranked in second place, closely following Newcastle. The research, carried out by Tails.com, comes following the massive demand for dogs to help ease lockdown loneliness.
More dogs has led to a lot more fouling left behind, with not all owners prepared to pick it up. There are estimated to be 269,959 dogs in Manchester, which equates to a lot of dog poo - 69,972kg.
