Since its establishment in 2022, it has fostered a nurturing environment where children and residents, lovingly known as 'GrandBees', grow and learn together.

Fernbees Day Nursery is owned and operated by Olea Care Group, a family organisation spanning three generations. Having experienced the value of intergenerational connections firsthand, the Claffey family was inspired to create a space where young children and the elderly could interact meaningfully.

The idea for Fernbees grew from suggestions within their resident and staff communities, combined with the enthusiasm of the youngest family members.
