Ayrshire families are being urged to sign up for a school clothing grant as a £500,000 programme ramps up in the north of the region.The school clothing grant will increase to £120 for primary school pupils and £150 for secondary school pupils – up £100 from last year.Applications are now open for the new term starting in August for eligible parents and carers who qualify for additional support.
