The Tony Awards show this year is happening without a script and Ariana DeBose explained why during her opening monologue!

The 32-year-old Oscar-winning actress addressed the writers strike during the unscripted monologue at the 2023 Tony Awards on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights. “I’m unscripted — as will every presenter who comes onstage tonight.
