manchestereveningnews.co.ukA mum has told of her terror after a masked man tried to drag her out of her car. Kerry Chapman was sat in her BMW with her son when the horror incident unfolded.
The thug opened her car door and grabbed her arm as she sat with 12-year-old Aston outside her home in Bromley Cross, Bolton.
But he didn't bargain on fearless Kerry getting out and chasing after him. He is thought to have been one of four young men out in a group that night.
Police are investigating following the incident - which was caught on CCTV - at about 10.20pm on Friday night (March 29). Kerry escaped with bruising to her arm but fears of the psychological impact the ordeal could have on Aston, who also tried to chase down the assailants. "I had just pulled up on the back street literally right behind my house," Kerry, 39, told the Manchester Evening News. "I was just showing my son a video of a young girl singing.
