Horrifying moment gang throws fireworks into Edinburgh shop caught on camera

Shocking footage has captured the moment a gang of youths hurl fireworks into a shop, triggering a powerful explosion inside.

The terrifying clip, filmed by a resident near Moredunvale Road, shows the group fleeing from the shop—believed to be Sugar and Treats on Craigour Drive—just before fireworks ignite inside, sending smoke billowing from the building.

Brilliant flashes of color burst from the shop's windows and doors following the explosion, as the gang retreats. One individual then runs back inside amid the chaos.

The resident who recorded the incident claims the same group had previously vandalised the shop's CCTV cameras and noted that police were "nowhere to be seen" during the incident.
