It was a spring March day when Salisbury was rocked by the chemical poisoning of a Russian former double agent and his daughter.
Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, were both found unconscious on a park bench in the picturesque cathedral city. She had recently arrived from Russia to visit her father and the pair had spent the morning at his home before driving into town and heading to the Bishops Mill pub for a drink.
Father and daughter then enjoyed a lunch at Zizzi's restaurant and took a stroll in a nearby park. When they were found, the pair were rushed to Salisbury District Hospital where medics battled to save their lives.
