Hooters has invited all of Salford to come and experience their hospitality after their plan to bring their second UK restaurant to the Quays was revealed.
The restaurant chain is well-known for having scantily clad waitresses serving customers with food and drink. They have applied for a licence for an outlet at Salford Quays for live music, recorded music and dance performances.
The only other Hooters in the UK is based in Nottingham, but another one has been given the go-ahead in Liverpool against a backlash of opposition.
The plans for a Hooters in Liverpool was met by a petition which slated the chain as 'an archaic and chauvinistic brand'.
