While people are usually watching RTÉ’s Home of the Year Show in order to see some very beautiful houses around the country, there are always other moments that can totally take over.
In last night’s episode, viewers watched as Jen Sheahan got herself a spot in the final with her quirky yet stylish Dublin cottage, as she impressed the judges with her ability to transform a small, old space into something modern.
However, although the houses on the show blew everyone away, it was something else entirely that really caught people’s attention.
And believe it or not it had to do with judge Hugh Wallace’s writing skills, one number in particular. Jen’s Dublin-home got through to the final with a score of 28, while the other two houses scored 26
