Michael Jackson’s surprise visits to the set while filming sequel Lost In New York.The Billie Jean singer was notably close pals with Macaulay Culkin, who stole the show in the first two films of the popular Christmas film franchise.It turns out the star – who died in 2009, aged 50 – would pop up occasionally to see how the 11-year-old was doing, in 1991.Celebrating the original film, which was released 30 years ago, set decorator Daniel Clancy spilled the beans on his appearance to Metro.co.uk.‘The only celebrity that we had was Michael Jackson came and visited the set, but that was in the second one,’ he told us. ‘No one knew he was coming, this limo pulled up and Michael Jackson pulled out with a mask on.
