Hollywood star Bill Murray lands 'new job' pulling pints at Scots pub

Hollywood star Bill Murray delighted punters at a pub in St Andrews by getting behind the bar to pull some pints. The legendary comedy star visited the iconic Jigger Inn at the Old Course along side other celebs after taking part in the Pro-Am golf tournament, writes Edinburgh Live.A regular attendee, Bill is often spotted playing golf in St Andrews and on his latest outing, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship team invited him to try his hand at pulling a pint.

In a clip, shared to their social media, Bill joins experienced staff member, Ronan, on the taps whilst donning an official Jigger Inn shirt, Bill then attempts to pour a pint - and it's fair to say his effort wasn't the best.

Hilariously blaming Ronan's training techniques, he then pulls a prank on his fellow bartender much to the delight of the other staff.The star even serves up some booze to his fellow players, including Big Little Lies actress Kathryn Newton, asking for ID from some older customers and offering Kathryn a dram of the popular Kingsbarns whisky before just giving her the bottle and a single ice cube to take away.After his 'trial shift' Jigger Inn manager Louise and Bill then head outside where she offers him a job at the bar, news the golf-loving star is delighted by, as he reckons it'll help him get a discount playing on the nearby Old Course.It's not the first time the Ghostbusters actor has had fun away from the Fife course, he famously crashed a house party at St Andrews in 2006, even helping to clear up afterwards and doing the dishes.
