Sophie Porley has revealed she was rushed into emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst.The 29 year old, who is best known for portraying Ellie Nightingale on Hollyoaks, took to her Instagram feed to update her 171,00 fans, explaining that she was in the process of freezing her eggs when doctors made the discovery.
Sharing a mirror selfie, she shared in the caption: "Thank you for the lovely messages I got after being MIA for 24 hours, I honestly didn’t think anyone would notice," followed by a red heart emoji.
She then continued: "I got my blood tests and scan back- my hormones are still not completely ideal but they have improved so after chatting to the doctor we decided to give it a try this month and hope for the best! "It may just mean that we don’t collect as many eggs as they would hope to." It all went well, I was just pretty sleepy all day from the sedation," she shared, assuring fans that she's fine.
