Hollyoaks’s Ali Bastian tells delighted daughter ‘You’re going to be a big sister’

The parents told their toddler the happy news just days before our photoshoot in a magical moment. “Isla came into our room one morning and we were having snuggles," former Hollyoaks star Ali, who is due in February next year, exclusively told OK!. "I said to David over her head, ‘I think we should tell her now’ and he agreed. “I said, ‘Have you noticed that mummy’s tummy has been getting bigger?’ and she said ‘Yes!’ I said, ‘I’ve got a baby in my tummy.’ And then there was this big smile across her face. “I wish we had captured that, it was magical, I’ll never forget it.
She understood. I said, ‘You are going to be a big sister’ and her face lit up. While she added: “Isla is so excited.Toddlers have no concept of time, so every day she’s asking, ‘Is the baby here yet?’” Ali is now 20 weeks pregnant and knows the gender of her unborn but is keeping a secret.
And the TV star found out the news she was expecting while at home by herself. “Isla was having a proper toddler morning, so David had taken her out in her carrier to get her to sleep," the 40-year-old recalled. “I felt that I should take a test.
