Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, 37, is embracing motherhood once again after welcoming her daughter, Peony Porter Piotrowski, via caesarean section last month. The soap star, who has portrayed Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 drama since 2008, is now a devoted mum (and stepmum) to baby Peony and her older brothers Forest, two, and Alfie, 10, the son of her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski. The Porter Piotrowski crew are already smitten with the newest addition to the family, who was born at 10.40am on December 10.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, Jorgie revealed that her pregnancy felt like it lasted "100 years", and her birth couldn't have come soon enough. "Honestly, it was the longest time," she confessed. "Margot Robbie had her baby about a week after she announced her pregnancy – I was pregnant for what felt like 100 years!".
She continued: "The trouble was that my bump popped really early so I couldn't hide it. By the end I'd wake up every day and think, 'Yup, I'm still a whale, I'm not getting away from this.' So it was harder this time, but I felt like I really should enjoy it more and milk it.
So if I randomly wanted to lie down, I'd lie down, I just didn't care what other people thought. I just wanted to enjoy it." Jorgie and her partner Ollie, who popped the question at Scotland's Gleneagles Hotel in 2021, clearly had a theme in mind when it came to naming their newborn, reports the Mirror.
