And detailing the reasoning behind their unique choice of name for their first child together - Jamie shares daughter Polly, 13, with ex Kym Marsh and son Billy, 18, with another ex - the couple explained that they wanted it to have meaning.The Hollyoaks star shared: “We wanted a name that was meaningful to us, Bella is a nod to Jess’s surname and Nevaeh is ‘heaven’ backwards.
Bella also means beautiful so it’s ‘beautiful heaven’.” The name came to Jamie and Jess from a night watching reality TV, as the actor explains: "Jess was watching Love Island and a contestant on it was called Arabella, and we both loved the name.
But then we started thinking that people would shorten it anyway, so we went for Bella." "We found out the gender at 16 weeks so we’ve been calling my bump Bella since then," Jess chimed in.
