Hollyoaks star David Easter has opened up on his heartbreaking suicide attempt and past battle with alcohol and drugs. The actor, 61, who is best known for his former role as Mac Nightingale on the Channel 4 soap, candidly spoke about his life experiences after he was named the new patron for charity Kenward Trust, which specialises in helping people deal with drug and alcohol addiction.
