Hollyoaks spoilers follow. Hollyoaks has confirmed an exit for a major character in the latest episode.
Tuesday's first-look episode (May 9) on E4 was the dramatic swansong for Angus Castle-Doughty as the evil Eric Foster, following his showdown with brother Tony and Maxine in court.
As he awaited punishment for his siege in the village, Eric was irate to see Tony and Maxine walk out of the hearing — thus denying him the attention he craved. "Hi – well, I mean, bye," Angus joked in the video opening.
The actor went on to thank fans for "the tremendous support" they'd shown him since Eric first showed up on screens last year. "When I came to Hollyoaks, I didn't know what to expect, at all," he admitted. "I've learned to work, here, and be an adult which is not something I ever wanted to do.
