Former ITV presenter Holly Willoughby has reportedly "lost a huge BBC deal" after the shock announcement last week she was stepping down from This Morning after 14 years at the helm of the flagship breakfast programme.The 42-year-old put out a statement on social media confirming she would no longer be returning to the show after putting herself and family first following a tough few months for the presenter which has seemingly cost her a 'golden' opportunity.BBC bosses were said to have been keen on signing the mum-of-three for a "golden handcuffs" deal however plans have now been put to a halt following her abrupt exit from the ITV programme, which also saw Phillip Schofield leave earlier this year."Holly isn't going to be signed up on an exclusive deal for the BBC—or to be the face of any of their new shows—at this moment in time," a source told The Sun."Their golden handcuffs deals are few and far between and Holly was being lined up to become a major player for them."The source continued: "But after seeing everything that has unfolded over the past five months, the BBC wants to give her some breathing space before making any offers."
