With the end of the year quickly approaching, some Scots will already be looking at holiday dates for 2023. Workers will no-doubt want to get the most out of their annual leave, and one way to get longer stints off involves booking select days that fall before and after Bank Holidays.
This hack could see workers who receive Bank Holidays in Scotland get 56 days off while using just 23 days annual leave. That could also leave Scots left with five extra days of annual leave to use as they please as most full-time workers are legally entitled to 28 days' paid leave a year.
While the UK Government site has shared Scotland's Bank Holidays for 2023, the Scottish Government site states that upcoming dates are likely, but could still change.
