Holby City actress Rosie Marcel has broken her silence on her character Jac Naylor’s heartbreaking death, revealing she ‘fought very hard’ against it.
Viewers watched the long running BBC series’ final episode in tears, as Jac passed away from a stroke after refusing further medical treatment amid her brutal brain tumour battle.
Now, Rosie, who has played the surgeon since 2005, has spoken out on the emotional storyline that marked the end of Holby’s 23 years on our screens.The 44 year old actress admitted: “You know, when I found out that they were going to kill the character I was bereft.
