HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) says the saving would be worth up to £125 per year, per employee, according to figures released from its online claims portal.

The relief can be backdated for four years - making a total maximum claim of £500, WalesOnline reports.Eligible workers can claim the full year’s entitlement if they have been told to work from home by their employer, even if it has only been for one day during the tax year.The new tax year started on April 6, with more than three million claims for the tax relief having previously.
