One of Manchester's most iconic music stores will be amongst the venues and community spaces offering free music lessons this weekend.
Learn To Play, which is held by the Music For All charity, offers free taster sessions to budding musicians of all ages and abilities in a bid to help them try out new instruments and learn about the music services available locally.
More than 70 music stores, community spaces and studios across the country will be taking part in the flagship event - and there’s three stores in Greater Manchester where you will be able to pick up an instrument for free this weekend (October 7-8). Ltd in Deansgate will be hosting free sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Available to have a go of will be the acoustic guitar, bass guitar, cello, clarinet, electric guitar, flute, piano, keyboard, saxophone, trumpet, ukulele, viola and the violin.
