Hilary Duff Has Around 20 Tattoos—But Not On 'How I Met Your Father'

Both shows, which exist in the same universe, follow a similar format with the older version of the protagonist narrating the show.
On the original, Ted Mosby was played by Josh Radnor and voiced by Bob Saget. On How I Met Your Father, the older version of Duff's character Sophie is played by Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall.
Because Sophie has a few of Duff's visible tattoos, the makeup department had to recreate those on Cattrall's arms. “We painted the little heart on Kim's wrist, so that it would match Hillary's real tattoo,” Middleton said.
