SPOILER ALERT! This post contains details from the Season 1 finale of ABC‘s High Potential. Tuesday night’s High Potential finale left audiences with more questions than answers as Morgan and the LAPD begin to zero in on what happened to her ex, Roman Sinquerra.

Here’s a recap of the episode: Things kick off when the LAPD receives a tip while discussing their upcoming police gala, which Soto has requested the entire Major Crimes unit is in attendance for.

The tip is merely a photo of a man being held hostage with a note that says: “Spencer Wallace wouldn’t play with me, will you?” The man in the photo, presumably Spencer Wallace, is holding a sign that reads: “Two hours to make your move.” They start by visiting Spencer’s apartment, where they find a puzzle waiting on his doorstep.

Inside is a note that reads “let’s play.” Back at the station, Morgan solves the puzzle to discover it is an elevation map of the Hollywood Hills area, and one piece is missing — another clue.
