Former Airdrie midfielder Josh Campbell has signed a long-term contract extension at Hibs until the summer of 2025.The 21-year-old was one of Diamonds manager Ian Murray's first signings as boss in 2019, joining the League One side on loan from Easter Road.
He made 15 appearances.After a loan at League Two Edinburgh City last season, Campbell has started the last four matches for Hibees head coach Jack Ross.That includes a stunning display in last month's 3-1 Premier Sports Cup semi-final success over Rangers.After making his way through the ranks, Hibs' combative midfielder is keen to make the most of his extension.Campbell told Hibs TV: "I’ve been working so hard – I’ve been here for 11 years so I know how hard it is to get into the team.
