Saturday Night Live opened with a Bowen Yang hosted game show, So You Think You Won’t Snap, as contestants were challenged to not go out of their minds in rage as they are reminded of some of the week’s most unnerving news headlines.

Wilson Chapman editor “Saturday Night Live” lampooned the seemingly endless barrage of bad headlines in in the opening sketch of Season 48’s second episode. Bowen Yang starred in the opener as a game show host for “So You Think You Won’t Snap,” a program which features contestants being read real-life headlines in an attempt to make them snap, whether that means breaking a glass or punching an assistant. Also in the sketch was Heidi Gardner as a yoga teacher who is forced to watch a video of President Joe Biden talking about his mental state on CNN; Chloe Fineman as a an apolitical mom outraged by Chris Pratt’s voice acting in the “Super Mario Bros” movie; Kenan Thompson as a contestant who loses it at the very mention of Elon Musk; and Devon Walker as a contestant who is confronted by a barrage of negative news involving Kanye West. Sen. Rick Scott, the chair of the Senate GOP's election arm, and Sen.Tom Cotton, R-Ark., will travel to Georgia for a Tuesday event supporting Herschel Walker, the first major campaign stop following accusations that the Republican Senate nominee paid for an ex-girlfriend's abortion a decade ago. Walker has denied that he paid $700 a woman to get an abortion or had a child with her, and further reports have alleged that he encouraged the woman to have a second abortion, which she refused to do.

Republican Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker's campaign fired political director Taylor Crowe on suspicion of leaking to members of the media, two Republican sources with knowledge of the events confirmed to Fox News Digital. The decision comes a month before the 2022 midterm election, with Walker responding to a report that he urged an unnamed former girlfriend to get an abortion, and reimbursed her $700 for the procedure. Walker denies the report.

Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker says that he is "not deterred" and is refusing to back down after allegations broke that he paid for a previous girlfriend's abortion in 2009.  Reports surfaced on Monday claiming that Walker, who is pro-life, paid $700 to an ex-girlfriend, who said that the money was used to get an abortion and showed the alleged $575 receipt that was from an abortion clinic. Fox News has not independently confirmed this reporting.

Political strategist James Carville claimed that Evangelical Christians are not Christian because they still support Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker, and he smeared Republican primary voters as "stupid" and "very low-quality people." Carville made his statements during the Tuesday episode of MSNBC’s "The 11th Hour," where he was invited on to address the recent allegations that Walker had paid for an old girlfriend’s abortion years ago. Walker, who is running for U.S.

Major left-leaning networks, such as MSNBC and CNN, have been inundated with coverage of the Herschel Walker abortion payment story over the last two days, with media figures ripping into the Georgia Republican Senate nominee over his alleged hypocrisy.  A Monday report alleged Walker urged an unnamed former girlfriend to get an abortion, and reimbursed her $700 for the procedure.The woman claimed she had a bank receipt of the alleged payment, as well as a "get well" card from the Walker himself.   Since the report came to light, a number of television personalities, journalists, and commentators have criticized Walker over the report, as well as a number of other past controversies alleging various lies and instances of domestic abuse.

Daily Beast story dropped alleging that the elder Walker had once reimbursed his girlfriend for having an abortion.“Family values, people? He has four kids, four different women, wasn’t in the house raising one of them,” Christian Walker, the 23-year old son of Herschel Walker and Cindy DeAngelis Grossman, who are no longer married, said in a tweeted video. “He was out having sex with other women. Do you care about family values?”Labeling his father’s behavior on the campaign trail as “atrocious,” Christian also accused his father of lying when the elder Walker tweeted that the Daily Beast report was “a flat-out lie.”In one of a series of Twitter videos posted Tuesday morning, Christian said he kept silent while his father allegedly lied about aspects of his past.“I stayed silent as the atrocities against my mom were downplayed,” he said.

Herschel Walker, who is the Republican nominee for a senate seat in Georgia, is involved in a major scandal right now.
