A dad who desperately tried to save a woman crushed to death by a wardrobe in her hotel room was left shocked after police arrested him for murder.
Chloe Haynes was pronounced dead at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool on September 10. The 21-year-old had travelled there from Pwllheli, Wales for a night out with friends.
Her devastated mum, Nicola Williams, believes Chloe had possibly mistaken the wardrobe door for that of the bathroom, causing the heavy piece of furniture to fall on top of her.
When a friend returned to the room, she found Chloe's body under the wardrobe and immediately ran out screaming for help, with several guest coming to her aid.
