Madeleine Mantock has officially departed Charmed, as her final episode aired tonight on The CW.

The actress announced she was leaving the show just a week ago, much to the shock of many fans of the new revival of the series. Madeleine‘s exit mirrored Shannen Doherty‘s own exit from the original show. Click inside to see how Madeleine was written out… The episode kicked off with Macy embarking on an easy mission to retrieve a supernatural fungus capable of defeating the Whispering Evil.

However, things took a tragic turn when Macy became the Big Bad’s new host and then prompted her to swallow the fungus and stop the dark force from within, which began her own path towards death.
