Dan Walker and his fellow Strictly Come Dancing alumni Helen Skelton have announced that their much-loved travel series has been renewed for a second season after their initial adventure across the North Pennines.
The dynamic duo delighted audiences with Dan and Helen's Pennine Adventure last year, where they took viewers on a scenic journey through breathtaking landscapes, engaging in a variety of activities such as cycling the Snake Pass and even braving cold waters for a spot of float-tube fishing.
Their first series concluded with the pair reaching out to their supporters, expressing gratitude for the positive feedback and hinting at their hopes for a second series. They said: "Your comments have really been so kind and encouraging throughout the series and I have sent lots of them through to the teams at WAG and Channel 5.
We'd love to make a second series somewhere else so make sure you let Channel 5 know if you want another one." Now, it seems their dreams have come true, as Channel 5 has given the green light for a new series set in Yorkshire.
