Helen Mirren and Andie MacDowell brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the red carpet on Friday as they made a spectacular appearance at the Mother and Son premiere.

Helen, 76, and Andie, 64, were simply radiant as they giggled, hugged and even had a dance together at the glitzy screening at the Palais des Festivals amid the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival.

The ladies also took the opportunity to showcase their fabulous attire during the evening, with The Queen star dazzling in a stunning, silver embellished gown.

While Four Weddings and a Funeral favourite Andie was simply elegant in a plunging, striped brown dress. Helen teamed her shimmering, full length gown with a simple pair of pointed black court shoes, while she added a further touch of bling with diamond drop earrings.
