Helen Flanagan reveals she was 'mum-shamed' over son's 'horrendous' tantrum in restaurant

Helen Flanagan has revealed she was mum-shamed in a restaurant after her two year old son Charlie "screamed the restaurant down" during her holiday.The 32 year old former Coronation Street is currently on vacation with her three children Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, Charlie and one of Helen's friends during the Easter holidays.

She took to Instagram to share her experience after little Charlie threw a "horrendous" tantrum in a restaurant, leaving her mortified.

She said: "I cannot tell you how horrendous Charlie's tantrums have been. "I mean I've got two children and I know what babies can be like and the tantrums and stuff but when I'm saying he screamed the restaurant down yesterday. "He just screamed and screamed." She added: "There was no consoling him at all he literally just screamed the whole restaurant down. "It was a really, really, really busy restaurant - I could feel there was a table, just sensed it. "This is my third child - I don't think they were being that nice to be honest about my parenting, even though I was really trying my best to console Charlie." Helen thanked one girl who was really nice to her before saying that kids "really play up to their mums".

She then revealed she left the Charlie with her friend and exited the restaurant in a bid to make him calm down. Helen went on: "We got back to the room - we missed a full night's sleep, we maybe had about half an hour on the plane.
