Two sisters have found each other thanks to ITV show Long Lost Family after both sharing a distinctly similar story. The duo were both abandoned at birth and grew up completely unaware that the other even existed.
They met for the first time after one submitted her DNA to a national database. Carole Murphy was adopted as a baby in the 1960s.
She knew very little about her back story, but told how her mother had left her without any identification at a London hospital.
Elsewhere, Sarah Dunkley shared an almost identical story. She had given up on finding out about her real family and was resigned to never known her mum's identity.
