Yasmin Finney, star of Netflix series Heartstopper, opened up about the absence of representation she faced as a trans woman on TV.
While sitting down with The One Show's Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, alongside fellow actor Joe Locke, the conversation turned to the impact of their Netflix show's latest instalment.
A fan's heartwarming message was relayed by host Roman: "Heartstopper means a lot to me because it helped me figure out my sexuality.
I couldn't be more thankful for that series." Roman then queried Yasmin, who portrays Elle in the drama, about her thoughts on the feedback from fans treasuring the series.
