‘Heartstopper’ Star Kit Connor Says Filming Season 3 Sex Scenes Took ‘About Seven Hours’: ‘We Shot a Lot of Footage’

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Connor said his closeness with co-star Joe Locke made the process easier and that they have worked with the same intimacy coordinator since the first season. “We’ve been taking baby steps.
Season 1, he would be there making sure that we were comfortable holding hands. And now we’re doing the sex scenes,” Connor told The Sunday Times. “We shot a lot of footage for them.
Not much actually ended up in the show. But we shot the sex scenes for about seven hours!” The actor, who plays Nick Nelson in the coming-of-age drama series, explained that the show has matured along with its cast. “I wouldn’t say that we’ve outgrown the show because the show is growing in itself,” Connor said.
