Hearts loanee hoping Airdrie stint will help land new Jambos deal

Scott McGill hopes his display in Airdrie's fine win over Falkirk can go some way to landing him a new deal at Hearts.The Jambos loanee extended his stay with the Diamonds this month, having joined in the summer on an initial six-month loan deal.Airdrie boss Ian Murray has been delighted with the 19-year-old's progress this term and the midfielder emphasised his qualities with a fantastic finish that completed a stunning second goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Bairns.Neat play from Adam Frizzel saw him backheel the ball into the path of Dylan Easton.
