Motherwell boss Stevie Hammell insists Hearts keeper Craig Gordon should have been sent off for his challenge on Louis Moult that led to his side being handed a penalty lifeline in their 3-2 defeat.Hearts were 2-0 up at Tynecastle, thanks to Andy Halliday's double either side of the interval, and despite Jorge Grant's straight red card for a crude challenge on Calum Slattery 38 minute into the game.Gordon, who was already on a booking for protesting Grant's red card, wiped substitute Louis Moult out, who then picked himself up and scored the penalty, with Blair Spittal levelling for Motherwell, only for Lawrence Shankland to net a penalty winner for the Jambos.Hammell said: "It was an eventful game, a game we put a lot into."Even though we lost, I shouldn't be sitting here speaking about a loss, in my opinion we had enough of the game, and at the very least we should be sitting here with a point."I'm stunned that Hearts didn't go down to nine men.
