Paisley fire station were called to the scene on Saturday evening. They then phoned their colleagues at Paisley police office to attend.The fire caused substantial damage to two model trains and the roof of the shed where the volunteers work and store the trains.The trains and track are maintained by volunteers with the Paisley Society of Model Engineers who have met in Barshaw Park since 1972.James McDonald from the society said: "We haven't been able to see inside the shed yet because the police are still investigating."We've had a lot of vandalism in the last few months, damage to the boards at the track, the fence panels over the bridge always seem to be attacked and the windows of the hut have been smashed."There's also a lot of litter.
