Chris Hemsworth

Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away (2004–07) before beginning a film career in Hollywood by taking on parts in the science fiction film Star Trek (2009) and the thriller A Perfect Getaway (2009).

Hemsworth went on to star in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), the war film Red Dawn (2012), the action thriller Blackhat (2015), the biographical thriller In the Heart of the Sea (2015), the comedy Ghostbusters (2016), and the Men in Black film series spin-off Men in Black: International (2019). His most critically acclaimed roles include the comedy horror The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and the biographical sports film Rush (2013), in which he portrayed James Hunt.

Heartless vandals splatter graffiti on much-loved Paisley charity base

Heartless vandals sprayed mindless graffiti all over a much loved Paisley charity’s base.Volunteers at Ferguslie’s Own Yer Bike turned up to their containers this morning to find the vile scrawlings all over two of the units.The team behind the organisation - which provides bikes to thousands of children across Renfrewshire - were disappointed and disheartened by the cruel damage to their premises.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.

Sign up to our newsletters here.Volunteers were thankfully able to cover the graffiti, which included the tag ‘F**k the police’.However, they now fear it could cost them hundreds of pounds to fix as one of the units does not belong to them.Marc Small, founder of Own Yer Bike, which is located next to the Tannahill Centre, said: “It was really disheartening to turn up and see that.“It just makes you think why do we bother when that is how we are treated."It can get you down to think that so much work is put in to doing what we do for the community and this is what we get back.“Thankfully we had a few cans of spray paint in the container and were able to cover it.“I didn’t want kids walking by on their way to school and seeing it.“But it could still cost us hundreds of pounds as one of the containers is rented and not owned by us.“We could be hit with a bill to repaint it when we return it.”Marc posted images of the graffiti on social media after turning up to start the day to find the damage.The images sparked anger among members of the community, who branded the actions of the vandals as “shocking”.One person said: “Unbelievable some people always spoil things for everyone else.Another added: “Shocking Marc after all the work you guys put into it.”Own Yer Bike was set up
