Tributes have been paid to a popular café owner after she passed away just a few days before Christmas.Moira Cunningham, 68, passed away suddenly on December 23.
She owned The Ravenous Beastie in South Queensferry, West Lothian. And the eatery, which is also a B&B, issued a heart breaking update to all of their customers this week, confirming it will be closed for the "foreseeable future".
As reported by our sister title, Edinburgh Live, Moira moved to South Queensferry in the 1990s, opening the business in 1997, and running the unique and popular café for over 25 years.
Her family said: “Moira created a more than a business that stood the test of time, the Ravenous Beastie was a fairy-tale created by Moira on the high street."She shared what was her home to those who were curious about Scotland but she also loved nothing more than the locals popping in, it was her life and passion.
