John Bishop has been showered with support as he told fans his beloved mother, Kathy, has died. The comedian said he is experiencing a "pain like no other" after her death this week, just a couple of weeks after she got to watch him in his latest role in theatre production Mother Goose.
John, 56, shared the news on Instagram, posting a picture of himself and Kathy smiling at a kitchen table as he place a loving arm around her.
He also posted a video of Kathy singing along at the pantomime in the Liverpool Empire, where John had been performing, In the post, the ITV show host wrote: "Two weeks ago my Mum came to see me in Mother Goose in Liverpool and joined in the sing a long at the end as I knew she would.
