Heartbroken family of Scots fisherman ‘lost at sea’ to hold memorial for ‘proud granda’

The devastated family of a Scots fisherman who remains 'lost at sea' are set to hold a memorial service for their loved one.

Joe Masson from Fraserburgh was reported missing after he failed to return home on Saturday October 16 after a trip out on his creel boat.

He was last spotted on board his blue vessel - Goodway FR23 - at around 1.30pm near Cairnbulg Harbour by a member of the public.

A major search and rescue operation involving the RNLI, HM Coastguard and the MoD was soon launched to try and find the 73-year-old.But his boat was later found upturned with no sign of the fisherman.
