Heartbreak as Shetland pony used to help people with learning difficulties is stolen from stables

Miniature Shetland pony Isla was taken from her stables in Cheshire, between Friday night and Saturday morning, CheshireLive reports.

Owner Kim Darlington, who has had Isla since the pony was five-months-old, said she was heartbroken. Kim realised she was missing between 6am and 7am on Saturday (July 3) and said Isla was last seen in the stables at 7pm on Friday (July 2).

The 23-year-old said: "Isla has been in my life since she was five months old. She is my life literally, 365 days a year I'm with her.
