The family of a man who died whilst on holiday for his wedding anniversary have spoken of their heartbreak as they were 'not allowed' to be by his side in his final moments.
Daniel Bowman, 32, from Yorkshire, went on holiday to Bulgaria with his wife Kelly at the start of the month to celebrate their third wedding anniversary on the trip.
However, the holiday quickly turned into a nightmare when Daniel, who moved from Doncaster to live with his wife in Leeds, was left in a coma in a Bulgarian hospital. His vital organs were slowly shutting down, Yorkshire Live reports. When surgeons began to operate, his pancreas failed, causing further complications as it leaked into his blood stream.
